The Sensex Outlook for the Week Starting - 08-07-2019

Along with the budget, the near term top is now behind us.
From the current levels to 39982 levels (11950), the markets face a minefield of resistances.
On the downside, if yesterday's low of 39441 is broken, the fall could accelerate and extend all the way down to 39090,38871 (11790,11619).
It is prudent to remain short on the indices and look at specific stocks as trading longs.

The Sensex Outlook for the Day - 18-06-2019

The markets did bounce off (marginally) from the supports given yesterday (38911 {38900 given as the support in this column} and 11657 {11660 given as the support in this column}). Going forward, we're not completely out of the woods, use any rise to short the markets afresh. Only with a close above 39125 (11721), will the bears be in a retreating mode. Use these levels as the closing SL for all fresh and existing shorts.

The Sensex Outlook for the Week Starting 18-03-2019

Throwing caution as well as technicals to the wind, the markets have been charting daily gains on their own volition.
We are at steeply over-brought levels as we head into a truncated trading week.
Those who are holding longs, keep a trailing stoploss at 37760 (Friday's low) & those who are holding NIFTY shorts - stay put for now. Sooner than later, the markets will pause to catch their breath.

The Sensex Outlook for the Day 28-02-2019

The markets couldn't sustain the intraday gains yesterday and while we did close the day significantly higher from the day's lows - the market structure continues to remain weak. The markets are very close to resistances and supports are few and far below.Continue to trade the markets on the short side - on an intraday as well as positional basis.
