The Sensex Outlook for the Week Starting 07-10-2019

The markets are perched precariously at support levels. Even though we remain in a firm downtrend, a small bounce from the current levels cannot be ruled out. Like a few days ago, have brought NIFTY Calls the previous day as a BTST trade. 

Overall, the truncated trading week should see ranged consolidation in the 37600-37900 (11150-11250) band before breaking 37600 (11150).

T​he near-term downtrend is over for the markets. Time to re-initiate fresh long positions. Use any dips, opening or intraday to initiate trading buys.The SL for all fresh longs lies at 35211.

We have exited BANKNIFTY Puts & NIFTY Puts with good gains and entered NIFTY Calls.

​The Sensex is only 2.64% from the previous Life High (36443.98); but as we saw today - scaling and sustaining 35500 is a very tough nut to crack. Its best to trade the range for now - 35000-35500.

We are holding BANKNIFTY Puts and will go long on the NIFTY Calls with a SL at 35444/35121 (depending on risk appetites).
